SWISS SAMPLER

Swiss Sampler is a compilation of patterns and motifs garnered from
a 1665 sampler housed in the Landesmuseum, Zurich. It is worked
mostly in double running stitch and long-arm cross stitch as well as
simple cross stitch. Students have the freedom to adjust the size of
their samplers to suit their individual taste.

Threads: DMC® six-stranded cotton in many colors
Colors: Twenty different colors were used in Ilses original version;

TIRAMISU
Teacher: Dakota Rogers
Tiramisu is a sampler comprised of 12 bands of reversible
blackwork, adapted from 16th and 17th century Italian samplers.
The model is stitched on fine white linen with stranded silk. A basic
color theory course is included. Students have supply and color
options.
Project: Sampler
Size: 103 stitches by 379 stitches (6G"x 24G" on 32-ct linen)
Fabric: 32-ct white linen, or students choice
Threads: Five values of stranded silk, or students choice
Colors: Monochromatic, or students choice
