EGA Headquarters
The headquarters of EGA is located in Louisville, Kentucky. The office is responsible for the day-to-day operations and implementation of the various EGA programs. Our office is located in Louisville's Highlands, an area known for its historic homes, scenic parks, independent businesses and vibrant arts community. It is conveniently located near downtown, major interstates and Louisville International Airport.
Our headquarters houses the national Embroidery Museum and Resource Center, which includes the Leslie Durst Gallery, the exhibition space for EGA's permanent collection; the Margaret Parshall Gallery which houses traveling exhibits; the Dorothy Babcock Library; the Bucky King Bormann collection room (housing a textile collection of nearly 900 pieces) and a boutique of EGA and embroidery related items for sale to the public.
