Join EGA’s Rocky Mountain Region at Education Santa Fe – Registration Ends December 15th, Late Fees Waived

Come join us at the “End of the Santa Fe Trail” and sample the unique food and culture of New Mexico.

Education Santa Fe is a new, unique type of event that includes one day and half day classes, museum tours and lectures in the “city different” May 1-5, 2024. Santa Fe is known for its art museums and historical sites. Early registration was a great success! Many have registered and one class is already full and others are filling fast. Regular registration opened October 15th to all Rocky Mountain Region members who haven’t already signed up, MALs and those outside the region. We have some exciting news to share. The Region Board voted to waive late fees! So don’t wait! Late registration closes December 15.

You may learn all about it by visiting the RMR webpage rmrega.org. Plus you may register on- line! There are no banquets which keeps our registration fee to a low $81. The class selections include blackwork, needlepoint, silk ribbon embroidery, needle lace, bead embroidery and a finishing class. You pay a class and kit fee for each class you sign up for. There is an entrance fee for the museum tours which are limited, but lectures are free!

Education Santa Fe will take place at the Drury Plaza, located at 828 Paseo de Peralta in Santa Fe, NM. Due to the great response to Education Santa Fe, our block of rooms is sold out, and right now, the hotel does not have additional rooms to give us. We hope they will be able to give us more rooms, but we won’t know this for several more months. We do have an alternate block of rooms at the Inn of the Governors, which is very near the Drury Plaza. The group rate is $229.00 plus tax for a room with 2 queen beds. Reservations must be made by March 30, 2024. To make a reservation, call their reservations department at (800) 234-4534 or (505) 982-4333, requesting the group rate for the EGA RMR block. The rate includes full hot breakfast, free parking and wi-fi, and a welcome amenity of sherry and biscochitos.

Hope to see you at Education Santa Fe!
